User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It is safe to give your chinchilla bamboo to chew on.

It is recommended that you make sure your chinchilla has plenty of wooden items (sticks, toys, etc) to chew on, because their teeth will continue to grow all through their life. If they grow too big, the chinchilla will have difficulty feeding or the teeth may penetrate the chinchilla's lips and cause pain.
