I was told not to use jello instant pudding with celiac disease. Is your cooked puddings also unsafe, even tho they might not list wheat, barley, rye, malt etc. can it be cross contamination that is possible.
It wasn't mixed enough when it was first made. If it is made with cubes they need to be thoroughly dissolved and this mixture well stirred before it is chilled. If it is made with powder make sure the powder is well dissolved and stirred before chilling. If the thicker mixture is allowed to settle it will be thicker at the bottom than it is in the rest.
Jello products are not a good source of protein. Most have 2g of protein or less per serving.
Yes you should cover it as it can absorb some odors from your fridge.
can't find the info. on this; but it sounds like belinda carlisle to me.
Leave it out in the sun and you will find out. You can keep it for 1 week You can keep it for 1 week
Peter Cooper patented powdered gelatin in 1845, but it was turned into a fruit-flavored dessert and trademarked by Pearle and May Wait in 1897, who named it Jell-O.
It became super popular in 1904 when the company they sold the trademark to started handing out free Jell-O cookbooks.
According to this article it will last indefinitely if stored correctly. See Article here http://homecooking.about.com/od/specificfood/a/gelatintips.htm
Jello is considered a solid for the most part, before it is refrigerated it would be considered a liquid.
Yes, gelatin desserts are Okay to eat after having Diarrhea.
strawberry, apple, pineapple, peach, banana, grape. even cherry
water with food colouring is transparent. This is because in order to be translucent, the material must scatter the light waves, food colouring does not make a glass of water scatter incoming light waves, it simply makes them red :D
I was looking for this same answer. I couldn't find one so I just decided to try it. And YES! You can put fresh oranges in jello. At least it worked for me, only I put them in plain gelatin with fruit juice. It set up beautifully.
There is a recipe for this on most Jell-o boxes now.
Boil 1 1/2c water (or fruit juice, or any non-dairy liquid really), dissolve the Jell-o, and then mix in a tub of thawed Cool Whip.
The result is an interesting mousse-like concoction. My roommates and I generally like it in either cherry or strawberry.
you can find halal jello in Muslim shops(halal shops).if you notice any writing in Arabic it means it is halal (but not all the time),the pack should also have a sticker or seal reading halal.
No, it does not. And neither does gelatin. From Wikipedia:
"For decades, gelatin has been touted as a good source of protein. It has also been said to strengthen nails and hair. However, there is little scientific evidence to support such an assertion, one which may be traced back to Knox's revolutionary marketing techniques of the 1890s, when it was advertised that gelatin contains protein and that lack of protein causes dry, deformed nails. In fact, the human body itself produces abundant amounts of the proteins found in gelatin. Furthermore, dry nails are usually due to a lack of moisture, not protein."
One thing that does help is Biotin supplements. A group of Swiss researchers has demonstrated that use of Biotin supplements increased the thickness of nails by an average of 20% among participants of a recent study.
A well-balanced diet is also important for healthy hair, skin, and nails.
I know the refractive index of the different colors of Jell-O are between 1.30-1.40.
