Asked by Wiki User

Usually, liquor would not have pork in it. Liquor is usually made from plants, like grains or fruits. Ingredients like barley, corn, rye, grapes, or apples are common. The method of making liquor also removes impurities, so the ultimate product doesn't usually have any meat or animal stuff.

Keep in mind that some flavored spirits might have different substances for taste. If you're worried about dietary restrictions, it is a good idea to test the label or ask the maker. Wine: The alcohol content of wine can vary, but it typically ranges from 9% to 16% ABV. Some dessert wines or fortified wines may have higher alcohol content, but they are still generally lower than most spirits.

an absinthe bull

Note to the above answer- it is very dangerous to add red bull to absinthe- the high alcohol content of absinthe (which is a depressant) paired with the red bull (which is a stimulant)can have very negative effects. When your body is intoxicated it defends itself (prevents more alcohol from entering the body) by either

Do you chill red wine after opening?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes you can chill red wine at any stage. It is typically served at room temperature but chilling after the bottle is opened will slow the oxidation process. What i recommend is that you have a smaller bottle handy so that you can fill it up to the top and store it somewhere. That will leave you with a drinkable amount and will also make sure that the leftover wine does not oxidize.

How do you get a beer belly?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Go to the store and buy some if you are 18 or older.

If you are under 18 in the United States, you can not buy a six pack. There are stiff penalties for establishments that sell alcohol to minors, so almost everyone asks for ID's for anyone who looks like they might be under 18. If you cannot show a valid ID or your ID does not prove that you are 18 or older, the establishments will not sell any type of alcohol to you.

It's not really a good idea to ask someone else to buy it for you, either. If someone is caught buying alcohol for minors, they can get into trouble legally.

Of course, if you are 18 or older, you can buy it from any establishment that sells it.

How do they get the whole pear in the brandy bottle?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The classic French pear brandy is the Williams Pear Brandy, which contains -- you guessed it! -- a Williams Pear. The pear isn't put into the bottle; it grows inside it. When the fruit is small, the bottle is affixed to the tree branch, and the pear grows to maturity inside the bottle. Brandy made from Williams Pears is added, and voila! The magic is complete.

Having once purchased a bottle out of curiosity (and having enjoyed the brandy immensely), I sought out the answer to this very question. And yes, if you live in a climate that is conducive to growing pears -- and a former neighbor of mine in Lake Arrowhead, CA, is a candidate for doing this, since she grows terricif pears! -- please do try it!
