How do you repair oil leak from pistin no1 on your fiat brava 16valve 1.2 on a x reg 200plate?

Answer:

If the oil is on the spark plug causing misfire or burning, then you would have to remove the motor to install new piston rings the others could soon follow. Best thing to do is buy a rebuilt or new motor and reinstall your heads(machining heads is recommended. Rebuilding a motor is difficult and alot of specialty tools are required. It is actually more economical to install a new motor. When these motors wear and the rings are bad oil and compression go passed the rings and cause poor acceleration and smoking. Lucas oil is good to help stop the leaking but works temporary.
