Defined card catalog?

User Avatar

Asked by Limpord

A card catalog is a physical listing of all of the contents of a library, organized with a single card for each item in the library. The cardcatalog was a familiar navigational hazard and blessing in all libraries well through the late 20th century, when physical cardcatalogs began to be displaced by computerized versions. Some libraries retain their card catalogs, often as sentimental mementos, and a few actively maintain their card catalogs: this is most common in small, remote libraries.

What is the difference between Statute law and civil law?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Statute law refers to written laws created by legislatures, addressing various legal matters such as criminal offenses, administrative regulations, and public policy. It serves as a formal source of law within legal systems and can apply in both common law and civil law jurisdictions..

In contrast, civil law is a comprehensive legal system primarily designed to resolve private disputes between individuals or entities. It covers areas like contract disputes, property disagreements, family matters, and personal injury claims. Does suboxone show up on a ua?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

will suboxone show up in a urinalysis?

will suboxone show up in a urinalysis?

Yes, suboxone will show up in a urinalysis test, but,, it does not show up as an opiate drug, it shows up as buprenorophine and hence has a test of its own

it is very very rare to be tested for bupamorphine, most probation officers don't even test for it. And most employment test do not include this test because it is a separate and very expensive test.(not true=the test are surprisingly cheaper than i would expect about $0.40 for a one panel test and about $4.85 for a twelve panel test.) I have probably taken 100 urine test and am on suboxone and have never been tested for it. I would worry about. (but it is true that they are rarely given on most probation and employment tests...but where more and more people are finding out about and using this drug i would still be careful... who knows as common as they now are they could add buprenorophine as a regular?

I got BUSTED by my psych doc 75 days after taking ONE suboxone,he took away my 90 xanex a month script, which I was making 250 clams on.

AND 30 days for 2 valium.....

Can a cannabis card exempt you from drug testing?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

No more than someone with a prescription for morphine is. You can still be tested, but the tests *should* be tempered with an understanding of any medicines the person is on. Of course, if you have a job where you are not allowed to have drugs in your system, you have a problem.

I thought about answering this question but realized, without medical and legal facts, would not be proper. I will add that nobody is exempt, in general, from drug tests. However, if you are medically prescribed a drug by an MD, and said drug does not affect whatever the reason one is being tested for; i.e. a job application, any decent purpose for such a test, should not be held against you.

However, any controlled substance, prescribed or not; I have personal professional input on this; will raise a red flag and you can easily be asked to provide a copy of your medical records. In addition, some other professions; therapists, psychiatrists, etc. can easily question the prescribing DR as to their legitimacy for the prescription.

In other words, what your GP prescribes may be totally against what a psychiatrist thinks and because a psych. has more say in psychotropic drugs, can easily override a GP even if you have been on the same drug regimen for years. I'm facing this disparity currently myself.

That's the sad, but valid reality; one which I personally do not agree with.

Is suicide or attempted suicide against the law in Washington?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Suicide is not against the law, as there can be no human punishment for someone who has successfully committed it. Attempted suicide will not bring criminal charges against you, but you will most likely be taken in for psychological evaluation whether you want to be or not, and can be held until they feel you are no longer a threat to yourself or anyone else.....which could be days, weeks, months and sometimes years.
