Oblivion is a steel roller coaster located at Alton Towers in England. It was designed by John Wardley and was the worlds first vertical drop roller coaster. The debut for this coaster was in March 1998.

Oblivion is 65ft high and has a 180ft drop and has maximum speeds of 68 mph.

Really that depends on the person. It is marketed as a Family Ride, so a family should be alright. I would really recommend riders are 8+, though.

My personal opinion is that it's a great Family Ride, and me and my family always find it hilarious going round shooting ghouls.

It may seem scary but really is a fun ride!

It depends on the service you use. A quick check on 'thetrainline' website listed the stops for the 08:00 departure this morning (15th Sept 2012) as... Doncaster, Newark North Gate, Grantham then London Kings Cross.

Some services only stop at Stevenage before arriving at Kings Cross. As I said - it depends on the service as to which stops it makes.
