AND with all due respect to the person below me. You probably wrote that while using an old thunderbird the newest which you can get from the mozilla site has a lot more to it and IS better to use, its worth updating often. Thanks, MissyElliot
No you cannot use Mozilla Thunderbird with hotmail, i have tried everything to my knowledge and nothing has worked, the simple fact is Mozilla Thunderbird does not support http servers except for gmail, (witch doesnt make since), the bottom line is, you cannot add a custom server URL (witch in this case the hotmail server is, http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.com)
Webmail is a free email provider located in South Africa, though anyone can create one. To get an account simply go to Webmail's website, click "register free" near the top of the page, and fill in the subsequent form.
The next part of the set up will be to configure Thunderbird. Open Thinderbird and go to File > New > Account... Next select "Gmail", click next and enter your name and gmail address(note: you do not have to enter the "@gmail.com" part of the address just your username). Click next and you should come to a summary and an option that you can select if you want to download all of your gmail messages. Select the option if you wish and click "Finish" . You will then be asked to enter your gmail.com password, but note that you can select an option to remember your password otherwise you will have to enter the password everytime you send and receive mail. So select that option if you wish and hit enter.
If you followed all the steps correctly you should be done. Now all you have to do is test it by sending an email to your yahoo email address.

The number of messages in a folder is limited to 4 billion (2^32 in a 32-bit counter). The maximum size of a single message is currently also limited to 4GB. Folder space/size limits depend on whether you are using Mbox or Maildir storage format.
Check the E-mail folders file size:
Right-click a folder, Properties, and not the 'Size on disk'.
Or, enable View/Layout/Folder Pane Columns to show the Total number and Size.
The size may decrease after you Compact Folders.
This May Help,
Peter
Yes, the password of Email can be capitalized. It will make the password more stronger than before. However you have to remember it every time.

Yes, as long as you download the Mac version. Click the link.
Yes -I use it all the time.
I use it emails and for for synchronizing my contacts and calendar with my Sony Ericsson phone.
I have also synchronized it with a HTC smartphone (Windows mobile) in the past, but that used a piece of software that wasn't free.
I use these free extensions and add-ons:
Attachment Extractor - downloads pictures people send me to a specified folder.
Google Contacts - Synchronize with Google
Lightning - Integrated calendar
My Phone Explorer - Sync with a lot of phones using Bluetooth
Norwegian spell checker
US English spell checker
Provider for Google calendar - Syncs Lightning with Google calendar
All in all -I don't need to use Microsoft Outlook any more to sync with my phone.
Sending them as an attachment allows the receipient to resize them on their programs if they know how. You can downsize, edit, crop and resize them in your own image progams then "save AS" and send again to help out.
To delete an email account on Mozzila Thunderbird is easy. If you have an account already on it and you want to delete it, click on the account, then click on view settings for this account and a little window should pop up. At the bottom left-hand corner, there is a box that says "account actions" which you can click and there will be a list, the options are:
- Create a mail account
- Create another account
- Set as default
- Remove Account
Click on remove account and ... ta-daa !!
Most likely the author of the post removed it. if it is one of your own....i have no flippin' idea, sorry!
well you take a picture of the page then you copy and paste it on your email and send it
Yes. Set it out like normal HTML and in outlook go under Options -> Format -> HTML and in theory any HTML should work other than maybe HTML 5.
You start a new event and click invite attendees. Then type in the email address that you want to send the invite too. Proceed with filling out the rest of the event and save and close. It will ask to send an invite, just say yes.
