It is a pain in the neck but it can be done. You have to take the grill off and remove three screws that hold the headlight assembly in place. The last screw is actually accessable from the fender well. Once you get the light assembly loose it will still not come all the way out but will slide...
dodge and chevy are mostly the same but dodge has more power so go with the dodge
this is a huge job. you can go about it 2 ways, one way is to pull the motor out, the other way, is to drop the subframe and pull the transmission out. either way, its a huge job. this is something that would take a trained professional who knows every nut and bolt on the car, a good 8-10 hours to...
GM Heater Line Quick-Connect Release Tool this will do it. Otherwise you need to try and use a hacksaw to cut it off, though I wouldn't recommend it, might cut the line into the heater coil
That year did not have one. No need for it on that one.
You will have to climb up and lean over the top of the engine to see it. It is on the top right rear corner of the engine right beside the corner of the intake. It is about 3 inches long and has an electric wire pluged into the end of it.
1 liter is = 61 cubic inches ( roughly )
V-8 Top right rear corner of the engine. V-6 Top left rear corner of the engine. They are hard to see so you will have to climb up and lean over the top of the engine to see it.
A bad connection. Check the battery cables and make sure they are clean and tight. Check the wires on the starter too. Also check all the grounds/ ground wires
150 at the crank is what i have read
There are minor changes from year to year and also different equipment on your car. There can also be additional provisions for a towed vehicle that has electric brakes or tongue weight that is different from most. This is what an owner's manual is for.
No they have different bolt patterns....Sliverados are 6x139.7 and Trailblazers are 6x127...
Check if the vehicle is OBD-1, or OBD-2. If it's OBD-1, there will be 2 Oxygen sensors, one in front of the catalytic converter, and one at the rear of it. If it is OBD-2, there will be four sensors. There will be three on the "Y" pipe from the manifolds, and one before and after the cat.
They would most likely fit, but you will probabley have to jack up your supension a little bit which is not hard to do. But it also depends on what type of tires you want to put on, for example, if you put off road tires on you would have to get a higher lift than if you put standard street radials...

I just checked the lever on mine that switches from fresh air to recirculated , this morning :) The procedure is the same. You need to get behind the controls to view the connections at the back.Below the dash on each side of the steering wheel are two rectangular removable bits. On the right hand...
== Answer == In the center of the dash on the left side is a timer relay. it is probably bad, causing the delay part of the lights to not work.
If you trace the other line coming off of the compressor, it leads to a red cap just above the radiator, under the grill.
== Answer == The reason is: When you completely run out of gas your gas lines are completely drained of fuel. When you refuel the car the fuel lines are still empty, and you will need to crank the car until the fuel pump has filled the gas lines and established the correct fuel...
== Answer == The oil pump is driven by the engine. Turning the engine faster means that the oil pump spins faster, this creates more oil pressure. 80 psi is normal at high rpms, and will not cause any problems.

You could try looking on eBay or find someone that is selling a vehicle for parts.
Don't worry about it, those silly resistors being sold on eBay don't work.

If your truck is 4wd, it might be your front axles. A mechanic pushed & pulled on it & heard the noise it did. He told me it was fine. The shake you have on the rear end is the same problem I have. I have replaced all 4 tires, u-goints, shocks, front hub bearings, & so on. The...
AnswerIt's called a bump stop. See http://datsunparts.com/1343 for an older datsun model - not sure if this will will work in a 280zx. Or you can make your own. A bolt that has a tall head on it will work. Be sure to put a but on the back so that it does not fall off while you are driving.
What you have here is a part number. That motor was somewhere in the 70's, and either in a truck, or high performance, because most 010's were 4 bolt main cap, blocks. The number you need to trace the history, what is was put in originally, and which rating it had, would be on the exposed pad, in...

Interior door handle replacement. You will need to remove the entire interior door panel. Fortunately, this is pretty straightforward. You will need a #2 Phillips screwdriver. == Answer == Probably because your oil level is really, really low and when you put the brakes on whatever drop you have left sloshes to the front of the engine so there is not enough left to register at the pump sender, and when you are in park you are only idling, so it is not...
Can't say for sure on the 2007, but my 2000 has a rocker switch at the top of the steering column to turn the parking lights on when the key is off.
It is under the intake manifold
5W30 weight only. Gastroll GTX and Kendell brands are a real good oil to use.
Most common cause of that is, Bad spark plug/plugs or plug wires, I think you will find your problem in that area.
1500 means that it is a 1/2 ton truck. 2500 means that it is a 3/4 ton.
== Answer == a blown head gasket usually results in over-heating. is your coolant needing to be topped of regularly and there is no sign of a leak on the ground? the coolant is leaking into the engine oil. check your dipstick, if there is coolant in the oil then you have a blown...
Take your remote apart and locate the panic button on the board. Once you are sure you are looking at the right button drop some epoxy or somthing like that on the switch. once its hard you will not be able to push the button down. other brands you can just put tape over the contacts on the board....
When the charge in the cylinder is ignited, it pushes the piston down against the connecting rod, which turns the crankshaft. The crankshaft is connected to the transmission, which transfers power through the drive line, the rear end, through the axels to the tires, and the ground, thus moving the...
These C3 Vettes typically need to be "pressure bled." Generally cannot get all the air out of the lines by pumping the brake. . Answer . Sounds like you have a leak somewhere in your brake system. Fill the master cylinder with brake fluid and bleed off all four calipers. Once you have brakes...
Most tires are measures by the rim size needed to mount it so a 14 inch tire is relative to the rim. then notice the other measurements on the tire... like.. my car... 255 50 16... FIRST 255 is the width.. i assume in Millitimeters... = 25.5 Centimeters... = about 10 inches. MIDDLE 50 is the...
If you slide up under the front of the engine and look at the front bottom pulley on the engine you will see the crank sensor just behind it and it will be in the left side of the timing cover. 1 bolt holds it in.
This is a common problem with Chevy trucks around that year. The problem is caused by bad stepper motors behind the gauges. There are several places that can repair this or you can replace the instrument cluster.
Yes unfortunately most 1998 model come with wheel Locks. So if you don't have the key or the person doesn't have a key expect to fork out between £40-£80 for removal. Waste of tiem wheel locks really!
Answer . Is the security light flashing? Sounds like you have the wrong key or there is a problem with the theft-loc ignition key system
== Answer == There are two metal lines on the compressor.one can change to a rubber or flexable line before it goes through the firewall. This will be the larger of the two lines. this is the low pressure line and should have a service port.DO NOT TRY TO CHARGE UNIT ON HIGH PRESSURE SIDE...
no, you don't need a title to sell. but the buyer will probably want a bill of sell from you for it.
It is an off road package for GM trucks
it can be replaced but check the resistors first they are probably the cause
== Answer == the 3S-FE engine that came in the 98-00' RAV's take 4.3 quarts of motor oil, with a new filter.  depending on where you live, you should use 5W-30 for colder temps, or 10W-30 for warmer areas. hope that helped.
remove the diff cover and let the fluid drain out into a pan. clean the mating surfaces on the both the diff and the cover. use gasket sealer (or proper gasket) on the cover and replace the cover, torque to spec. unbolt the filler cover located on the either the diff or the cover itself....
The fuel pump rod hole is 1/2 and the two drain back holes are 3/8. You might have to finish ream the hole and do something to keep the debris out of the engine unless you have the block apart for cleaning.
Depending on the value of the weight of steel at the scrap yard.
Unhook fuel fill spot, remove plastic tank cover, unhook tank support brackets Remove the fuel tank and there is a a ring on top of the fuel tank. Unhook the fuel lines and wires, remove the ring. Pull the pump assembly out. Install in reverse order. Also you can just take of the pickup box off....
It's dangerous, me giving instruction on a car fix, but nevertheless I will rush in since I hear no angels. I also have a P0135 code on my Chrysler Town & Country. Researching it, I read that the vast majority of the times the problem is fixed by replacing the #1 O2 sensor on bank 1. That's for...
First make sure that the heater core is not leaking and if that is okay do the following.... 1. Make sure that the a/c drain is not clogged up. 2. If that is okay and draining correctly then the evaporator core itself is very dirty.. 3. Buy a product called BG Frigi Fresh and spray the first can...
To remove the blower motor you will have to remove the glove box first since the blower motor is located behind it. Once the glove box is out of the way you can remove the bolts holding the blower in place. You need to remove the cooling hose that is connected to it as well as the wiring harness,...
Most models have a pressure port on the drivers side above the linkage. A 1/8" sender can be placed there. Another option is to utilize the built in electronics and buy one of the devices that plug into your ODBII connection under the dash.
There are four ways to find a ratio. 1 A dealer can normally tell from the vin number. 2 There are normally tags or labels on the axle that have part number, gear ratio, and fluid requirement info. 3 You can count how many times you have to turn the driveshaft to get one complete turn of the...
I don't know about mounting it, but the diesel motor is too heavy for the suspension on a 1500 (1/2 ton) truck.
No it will not. 2.8 and 4.3 have different bolt patterns, however 305(5.0) and 350(5.7) share the pattern with 4.3.
If you look under the hood by the distributor there will be a pigtail coming off of the wires. there is a chip that has to be pulled to set the timing.       On the 94's and 95's the spout connector is on the passenger side of the under hood area, near the air box, not like the 87-93 5...
assuming you have a 5.0 or a 5.7 its its mounted on the distributor under the cap, it has 2 screws that hold it in
I believe it is behind the engine on the firewall. It is a single wire and connection that breaks out of the main harness.
there is a line on bottom engine pully behind belt pulley and there are dots on the cam shaft gear's at the top line these up with the marks on engine
Answer If you are looking for the connection that must be dis-connected prior to setting the timing. Then you must open the glove compartment and find a grouping of taped wires behind the compartment. with-in this grouping of wire, look carefully; there is a small portion that can remove the...
Yes it will fit right in there.
Well, in a round about way, maybe. If the timing is that far off, and the motor is struggling to pull the load, maybe. But just running, or idling, no way.
Answer . there are supoosed to be 2 rod behind the headlight assembly take them out pull the headlight assembly out unplug the headlight pull the plastic cover from the back and reach in and take the old bulb out.
i had the same problem and i changed the fuel sock in the gas tank and now it runs great
if the rear end is messed up you can if you take the rear drive shaft out. but you have to keep the 4wd engaged. it will run of the front axles that way. i wouldn't drive very long that way, but it will get you home.
also try to change the oil. Try disconnecting the batery for 15 minutes. The computer will reset itself. This worked on a '95 Thunderbird. To reset the oil light, put the key in the ignition and turn to accessory setting (but do not start the car) Push the English/Metric button twice...
Turn key on. do not start Then push gas pedal all the way down to the floor 3 times being sure to let all the way off each time. Then turn key off and then start engine. That's it.
yes it will as long as it's not newer then a late 1999 model.
Yes it will. From 1989 - 1994 all Chevy sprint/GEO metro/Suzuki Swift/Subaru Justy's had the same design. Make sure that both models are either 2 door or 4 door because the 4 door model has slightly bigger doors. Hope this helps.
