The longest-living pit bull in the world is thought to be Uncle Chichi, who lived to 22 years old. Uncle Chichi was known for his longevity and good health throughout his life.

At around age two to three but there pretty much fighters at around 7 months
You can donate your time to a shelter, as there are many Pit Bulls in shelters around the country that need help. If you own a Pit, they can also be trained to work as therapy dogs or service dogs. They are smart, kind and eager to please, so they are easy to train.
When a dog has puppies, be sure to take both the mother and the puppies to the vet to be checked out. After that if the mother doesn't want to feed, you will have to bottle feed them. Puppy formula should be available at your local Vet's office. Instructions are on the back of the can for how much and how often to feed them.
If it was in the mood then biologically yes. A greyhound runs a 37-43 mph ( very rarely exceeds 40 mph, so 37-39 mph greyhound). A guinea pig runs at 39-47 mph, however such sprints can only last for 5-15 seconds. So the cavy could outrun the sighthound, but it would need a crevice to run into, and fast.
Yes you can. It doesn't matter where it came from or who owns it or anything. You can register any aged dog.
"they are bred for fighting and are banned in uk. they have an instinct to attack other animals and sometimes children. the main danger is the strength of there bite they just clamp there teeth shut and have stonger jaw muscles than other dogs"
The only truth in this statement is that they are banned in the UK. The stronger jaw is a myth. Rottwielers have the strongest jaw strength of all the dogs. Pit bulls don't have jaws that lock. However they were bred actually to HOLD bulls in place. So essentially they were cattle dogs. It was after that people decided to fight them for sport. They bred dogs that could be easily manipulated and controlled by people and obeyed orders to attack. They were not bred aggressive but trained to be. In America there are thousands of therapy dogs that are pit bull. They are gentle, snugglers by nature and very smart and loyal. A dog that is so willing to please it's owners that they are often misused. Dogs that are friendly and have never attacked anyone are made, in some places with bans or restrictions, to wear a muzzle in public. This makes them look aggressive when they are not. And in other places they are killed because they resemble pit bull even if DNA says they are not. Even if they never so much as barked. You can find results of behavioral tests for pit bull terrier, Staffordshire and other pit types here. You will see that they scored higher on them then other dogs. I actually feel sorry for someone that has never experienced a well cared for and loved pit type dog.
You have to wait until it grows some.
The amount you feed will vary from brand to brand, because some brands are more nutritionally dense than others. All brands will have feeding guidelines on the package based on age and activity levels.
Your puppy should receive the best quality puppy food you can afford for it's first full year.

What makes American pit bulls so dangerous is the strength of the dog. It is a very aggressive dog (mainly due to the upbringing and owner) , and it tends to bite a lot.
I have owned quite a few pit bulls. I used to not like them until I met my fiance. We now have bred them. Our main pit is a guard dog and very aggressive to intruders. Remember, before you trian your dog to be very protective, know that the dog can not socialize with humans except you. Training a dog to be aggressive is a matter of obedience and training the dog to go after certain objects. You have to gain your dogs trust first.
You do not need to encouage aggression in any dog. Pit Bulls respond to confidence and affection. The more your dogs love and respect you the more they will want to please and "protect you". I have three pit bulls two females and a male, that are together all day. When I'm around they are submissive and look to me to respond to door bell, loud noises, and whatever, but when I'm not there they are on point, they will bark at any unussual noises. They know what to do.
The people who train pits to be mean should be put down when the dog bites someone but we kill the dogs not the owners they just raise more mean pits.
I have three Pits great family dogs.Never raised to be mean but still know when a person does not belong in his house. Shame on you for breaking in they might make lunch out of you!
Sure they can. My Pit Bull gets along well with all other dogs and even cats. But this depends very much on the individual dogs personalities, both the Pitt and the Rottie. Introduce them on neutral ground and see how they get along. Be careful, keep them on leashes. One or both of the dogs may not like each other.
I have heard many professionals state that the pit, is the smartest dog known to man. I have never heard one say that about Danes. Now, none of that really has anything to do with the actual value of the relationship, one has with their dog. The dumbest dog in the world, can be your best friend. It all comes down to your expectations of the relationship, and what you are willing to put into it. In fact, I have to say that pits, being so smart, make them harder to own. The best way to choose a dog, is to read a little bit about all the breeds, then, go to your local animal shelter, and wait until one makes a connection, with you. The best things in the world, have happened to me when I was not looking for it to happen. But, when I set out to make something happen, the worst came of it. I guess what I am saying, is, sometimes in life, we have to go out, and make things happen. Example, we need to control things like jobs, and friends, and some things happen best, when we do not force them, but, are open to opportunities. A relationship with a dog, is one that I have found, for me, that is best left open to chance, thus reducing my expectations of the relationship, and making it more enjoyable.........Chuck.
five for any dog and if you breed them to much they could develop problems and may die having birth or from ovary cancer
I heard that the niche bloodline is based in Alabama. I had not seen it in the registered pit bull bloodlines list.
yes people say the dog is mean and should be put down but its a friendly dog its only mean on how its raised it has nothing to do with the dog itself :)
It costs you the love of a beautiful pit you could get from the animal shelter. (But otherwise, it really depends on who you're buying them from, how much they are asking, and the quality of the parents.) Please consider rescuing.
There is no license in the UK. They are illegal there.
Well, I would have to say, 1, on 1, maybe. I am not personally experienced with badgers, to have an educated opinion. I do know that over the years, they have matched pits with just about anything they can contain long enough to stage the fight, and you do not hear about illegal badger fighter rings. Two pits, without a doubt, could achieve the task, with much effort. But, to fight a pit, you are selling them so short of their potential, and ability to please, thus selling yourself short, settling for half of a relationship.........Chuck.
