Skulduggery Pleasant: Mortal Coil (September 2nd, 2010)
The comparatively short time period since Dark Days (April 1, 2010) is due to the fact that a cliff-hanger of sorts exists in the 4th book, to be resolved in the 5th book.
Skulduggery Pleasant 5 is called Mortal Coil.
There are going to be NINE books altogether. My best friend regularly talks to Derek on Twitter or something and he confirmed it. Can't wait!
valkyrie is holding skullduggery pleasant's head, a.k.a. the key to the portal and i think there are faceless ones in the left top corner
and the top left right might be a zombie....
actually i thnk its Anton shudders gist.
it is a mystery, crime solving, drama book.
no they dont (but i love them!) but at the end there r hints that they might
Warner bros bought the film rights to skulduggery pleasant and the script was so bad that Derek landy actually bought them back. apparently they tried to give skulduggery pleasant a dance number. i found out that Derek was going to write his own script but at the time of the post it also said that he was busy with the seventh book. i expect it to come out at any time
yes and the book is called the death bringer.
the books are 9+ so i would say the film would be either a PG or a 12, hope that helps!
The name of the 4th Skulduggery Pleasant novel is Dark Days. (US release April 1, 2010)
It is called ghost hunter and it came out at the end of 2009.
Main bad guys:
Skulduggery Pleasant: Nefarian Serpine

It says in on the last page in skulduggery pleasent dark days that it will come in September of 2010. Which means two skulduggery pleasant books in the same year. It is actually Mortal Coil not Skulduggery's Secret that is coming out in APRIL 2011
You can buy the book, which may be available as a kindle (online reading).
Eoiln Cofler: "Artemis Fowl" stories are about a growing up (at first book 12 years old) child-genius who gets in contact with the fantastic faerie world that exists secretly side by side with mankind and uses Artemis Fowl and his grown up butler in a similar "grown up protector and child hero" way. These stories also include a lot of comedy and can maybe equal the fun of Skulduggery Plesant.
Micheal Scott: "The secrets of the immortal Nicolas Flamel" is about a pair of 15-years-old twins who got found by the immortal Nicolas Flamel and tutored to learn to use their magic in a 6-Novel cycle to save the world. This story is less funny and a lot more serious than Skulduggery Plesant, but uses the same "kids/young preople are the heroes" way.
Rick Riordan: "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" Is a saga that starts with the 12 years old boy Percy Jackson finding out that he is a half-god in a world where the old Greek gods and myth are reality, again a story with lot of funny parts. Most readers suggest to ignore the movie and read the novels first, the movie story is altered in many ways (it starts with Percy Jackson being already 17 years old).
Joanne K. Rowling: Harry Potter is another series of novels about a growing up boy learning about magic, again with a lot of funny elements.
There is already 5 out. Skulduggery Pleasant, Skulduggery Pleasant: Playing with Fire,
Skulduggery Pleasant: The Faceless Ones, Skulduggery Pleasant: Dark Days and Skulduggery Pleasant: Mortal Coil. The 6th book is due out this month (September) and is called Skulduggery Pleasant: Death Bringer. After the 6th, there is going to be 3 more books. In conclusion: 9 books altogether
I hope this helps :)
