Well, at the last point in ' The Reunion ', Elena is with Stefan, but she does have some feelings for Damon. I think she is a vampire at this point? I cant remember and I cant check because my friend has borrowed my book. But I think that's it. BUT, out soon, there is a new Vampire Diaries book called, ' The Return ' , So look out for that :)
Similar: * the thirst for blood (necessary vampire trait), extremely long lives; * the younger vampire disguises himself as a high school student (backstory, serves as a basis for the plot); * a human girl finds out about his secret after much investigation and falls in love with him; * the arrival of another vampire in the town creates the confrontation. Different: * The heroine of Diaries is initially a popular girl, shallow and selfcentred, but develops into a more likeable character over the story. The heroine in Twilight is a likeable person * The vampires in Diaries retain most of their traditional properties (the blood exchange, death in sunlight) where Twilight makes them out as virtually indestructible. * The heroine falls in love with two vampire brothers in the Diaries as opposed to one in Twilight; * there is only one vampire in the town at the beginning of the story in Diaries, where a whole clan is present in Twilight; * In Diaries, the heroine dies after a car crash, but becomes a vampire because of the blood exchange with both vampires - this occurs quite early in the overall story arc. In Twilight, the heroine is made a vampire by her lover after a birthing almost kills her, and she had wanted to become one - this does not occur until the fourth and final book. * The newly arrived vampire travels alone and eventually falls in love with the heroine, and is also the brother of the original vampire. In Twilight, the travelling vampire has some companions, is of no relation to the clan, and selects the heroine as a target. There are many more similarities and differences between the two series, some more minor than others.
non so di preciso de damon morirà,ma se hai letto l'ultimo libro Damon morirà ma Elena con il suo grande potere riuscirà a resuscitarlo
In the Awakening there is 16 chapters. Not counting the Struggle because they sorta put them together. Which by the way also has 16 chapters.
The Vampire Diaries is a book for teens and pre-teens. It does have some sexual content though.
In the books:
He exchanged blood with Katherine. Then, when he and Damon fought, they both died. Since they both exchanged blood with Katherine, they both became vampires after they died.In the TV series:
They also exchanged blood with Katherine. Instead of killing each other, they are shot trying to protect/rescue her when the town tries to burn all vampires.
May 23rd 2009. It says on their tombstones(I went back and watched it)
Yes she does in the books she turns into a vampire at the end of The Fury book and in the beginning of the next but katherine kills her and she becomes human again and anyone that she kisses she heals.
But no in the tv series, well not so far
He gave his life force to save Elena as she died from klaus drinking most of her blood. That is why she didn't resurect as a vampire because of John's sacrifice.
she is one of the main characters. her parents have died in a car crash the previous summer and she meets this guy who is a vampire and falls in love with him.
The Hunters Vol. I: Phantom

she will end up with damon if they go by the book
Well scince he hasn't shown up yet we don't know. however in the books (Which are soo much different then the tv show) they kill him with a stake from a white oak tree, they never had a dagger, there never was an elija, or doppleganger.
Wrong. Well, right, but Katherine and Elena were in the books so of course there was a doppelgänger. they both still looked the same.
There wont necessarily be one, since it hasn't been opted for a film yet. It may or may not happen. With all the vampire movies and tv shows there are right now, it is very possible it wont be made into movie.
