Trans filter is located near the air box on top of the transmission. It looks like an oil filter.
5w30, 10w30, for cold weather i.e. Canada
15w40 for warmer climate.
I just use 10w30 all year round in all weather condition for my XG300
I've had mine since October, 2001. There have been some problems but nothing to get in a twist over. I try to hold onto my cars for ten years but I might get a new one in the next year. I don't think I will get another Hyundai.
The throttle body is located off of the air cleaner box. Just follow the big black tube from your air cleaner. Remove the top portion of your air cleaner box and the entire tube. It's at the end of that.
You should never run your car when it is not warm enough. More than likely you need a transmission fluid change, and the filter as well. Which is quite easy, but I would advise you to never run your car until it is fully warm enough for the car to be driveable.

That's a very good question. I'd like to know the answer to that too. The best I can figure is that there's a loose or corroded ground wire somewhere. I'm gonna try to find it this weekend.
When the radio in a Hyundai XG300 becomes all static, it is possible that the antenna is damaged. It could also be possible that the antenna is loose on the back of the radio.
fuse for wiper motor is in the compartment with other fuses. this is located next to engine on the drivers side behind the battery. unscrew the one knob holding it down and lift cover.....under cover of fuse box is your diagram for fuses.look for fuse which is not like ordinary fuses but a black block. pull out ,there is five prongs that would be your fuse.
located in the front passenger side. You would need to take out 2 M10 bolt and 1 M10 nut and 3 or 4 screw to take out the glove compartment. Remove the bottom plastic piece by yanking down with moderate force. Locate the cabin filter cover at near center and un-clip it to get the filter.
