A how lab mix puppy can reach 40-70 pounds depending on a variety of factors.
A litte of nine puppies is on the larger side, but it's not outside the range of normal.
yes table scraps are bad for dog! for one they might be allergic to something in the food. for the second reason it will make them over weight which can cause heart deasise. ANSWER #2 You can feed some human food, I'm talking about a healthy pet, not a puppy or sick dog. Cooked green vegetables in moderation added to their food, no corn, pieces of beef, chicken, turkey, no bones !! Breads sparingly, cooked oatmeal, cooked white rice, cooked brown rice, potatoes are ok as long as they are not loaded up with butter or sour cream. Potatoes are ok, with the exception: the potatoe family you have to watch for the sugar content, especially if your pet is a diabetic. No sugar coated items, no donuts, cookies etc, these will all cause problems if not now, it will as time passes. No mustard, ketchup, or mayo, miracle whip, no lunchmeats unless they are sugar free. I think its better to add some good human food to dog food especially the dry dog foods, but remember to feed less dogfood when you use human food.
A Chow's brain is no larger than your tightly-closed fist. However, Chows are far more clever than they let on, and they love to play tricks (pranks) on their humans.
A Chow can learn to understand (not speak) a vocabulary of 100 to 400 English words. An adult Chow typically will not engage in "demeaning" behaviors such as fetching a ball, but will search for and find lost objects, provided you have previously taught him the name of the item.
In a multi-dog household, it is normal to find that certain puppies become bonded with certain adults, so that the the adult dog has his own dog to raise and be close friends with for a lifetime.
Most people who get a Chow, end up having Chows for the rest of their lives.

A chihuahua is like most dogs...takes time and patience to train them. I've found through my 7 year old chihuahua that she was quite easy to potty train...used a lot of positive reinforcement. When she peed where I wanted her to go, I gave her plenty of "good girls"...and at the age of 7 I still do that. Make it a happy and exciting experience for your puppy and they'll do whatever you want or need them to do. A chihuahua lives to please it's owner...they learn fairly quickly if given the right guidance.
A purebred puppy with papers, can cost a couple thousand dollars.
No
Chows are stubborn, headstrong and difficult to train unless you have a lot of time to spend with them and really know what you're doing (or send them to a professional). They can also be hard to socialize with other dogs.
Yes
The preceding answer is incorrect, and reflects a lack of experience with the breed.
Chows are more intelligent than other dogs, so inexperienced handlers often have trouble training and socializing them. Sending them to a professional trainer is pointless, because a chow will not take orders from a stranger -even if it understands the command. But they are fanatically loyal and obedient and easy to train for the small group of people they love.
If this is your first dog, or you have small children; pick another breed. If you know how to handle a dog and do not anthropomorphize them too much; the chow is an outstanding companion and guardian.
Unfortunately for many trainers; you have to be smarter than the dog.
On page 30 of Call of The Wild, it describes Spitz as "a big, snow white fellow from Spitzbergen"
OK i have no clue what the answer is but who would ever ask this question? It's a very smart question:) I really like people who ask questions like this one, But I am really sorry, but I really don't know the answer to this question, but I will try to find out.
The blue tongue tels you they are pure Chow Chow. Pure bred beagles have a black spot on their tongue and that tells you they are more dominant. It is just a sign that tells you that you have a pure bred dog.
I have had a litter from pure bread chow chow(60 lbs, black) mixed with American Pit (70 lbs) result, medium coat mostly black 75-90 lbs monsters. 6 in litter all large boned big scull, well mannered. Basically depends on parents genetics.
If the Pit Bull is the mother, nothing. If the Min-Pin is the mother, I would see a vet as soon as possible as her life is in danger.
cause and effect
It depends on what kind it is some are grey with white are black dots some are blue, some are just plain white or grey. some of them also have more profound colours, such as dark green or yellow with spots.
Pure bred Chow Chow's can be a few different colors. Typically; black, red or "cinnamon", a light brown/tan, and even "blue" which is a very very dark shiny black.
They breed them in china for food if that's what you mean, but in the wild I don't think they would have any, no.
They are very beautiful dogs. They look just like a golden retriever, but have a little chow in them. They have the same size as a golden retriever. They have a little bit wrinkled face like a chow, they are very beautiful dogs.
All dogs are the same species and they all have the same scientific name: Canis familiaris. Chow chow does have a scientific name because it is a breed and not a species
Chow Chows can weigh from 20 - 32 kg.
I'm not sure I should answer this but to buy a purebred off the Internet(with papers!) can cost up to $1,000
Chow chows tongues are blue/purple. You should search some pictures of them.
