We don't see Percy in the Lost Hero. He actually is the hero that is lost. It isn't until the end of the story that they start to realize where he might be. However, they think he was swapped out with Jason. Jason did have his memory wiped, so it is quite possible that Percy did too.
The seven half-bloods in order of their introduction are:
The inclusion of Annabeth Chase in the seven is not yet confirmed.
The first book is called The Lost Hero. The second book is called The Son of Neptune. The third book is called The Mark of Athena. The fourth book is called The House of Hades. The upcoming fifth and final book is called The Blood of Olympus.
It was published by Disney Hyperion; where a individual book comes from is difficult if not outright impossible to say because of how many printers that publishing house has available in the US.
you need to be more specific about your question.
Well, Thalia is the daughter of Zeus, and yet afraid of heights(but we learn that way earlier)...Piper is a complete tomboy, yet she's the daughter of Aphrodite, and i know they are more but i can't think of them...
Yes. A hero is anyone who is the son/daughter of a god and normal human. Percy Jackson is the son of Poseidon.
to get home; the journey is for odysseus and his men to get back home to Ithaca after the Trojan war
the conflict is that hera is missing which is the main conflict throughout the story.
Jason has a conflict which is that his memory is taken by hera.
piper's conflict is that her father is missing.
Leo's conflict is that his mother vanished in the fire and is no where to be found.
Annabeth's problem is that Percy is missing
all of these sub conflicts corresponds and has something to do with hera missing. hera took all of these things away from them so they can find her since she she si missing in the underworld.
The conflict is that hera is missing (short and simple).
Yes he will and he has made two other series the Lost Hero and The Red Pyramid (Kane)
The name of the book is "Son of Neptune" (Neptune is the Greek counterpart of Poseidon) so I believe the book will be about Percy at the Roman Camp. That being said, Percy should make an appearance in the second book.
The book is scheduled to come out in Fall 2011
The villain of the series is Gaea, the earth goddes.
Enceladus is one of the giants and one of the main antagonists in The Lost Hero. He was created to destroy the goddess Athena. Mount Diablo was where he was trapped by Athena.
No he does not no main charecters die in the son of Neptune I don't think anyone does actually its been a wile sence I read the book
the name of Jason's sword is Ivlius. it's roman hard to pronounce
If they do, it will be years from now. They can't even begin planning to make that movie until after they release a movie of The Last Olympian, which, if it comes out, won't be until at least 2015.
okay so there are 144130 (ish) words in tlh. i looked that up and i think that's an approximation. i divided that by 56 and got about 2574, so maybe around 2574 words per chapter. of course it's not like the words are divided that cleanly but this is a maybe ish
Seven half-bloods shall answer the callTo storm or fire, the world must fallAn oath to keep with a final breath,And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death
The whole meaning of the prophecy is not clear yet but the parts that have been revealed in The Lost Hero and The Son of Neptune are as following:
Seven half-bloods shall answer the call
The seven half-bloods to answer the prophecy are Jason Grace, Leo Valdez, Piper McLean, Annabeth Chase (unconfirmed), Percy Jackson, Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang.
To storm or fire, the world must fall
No definite meaning of this line is known but Leo Valdez suspects that the storm refers to Jason Grace's power of aerokinesis as the son of Zeus, the Lord of Wind and Sky; and the fire refers to Leo's power of pyrokinesis as the son of Hephaestus.
An oath to keep with a final breath
No meaning of this line has been revealed yet.
And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death
As revealed in the first two books, Gaia has opened the Doors of Death, giving free transport from the underworld to the earth. Foes meaning the Roman (Grace, Zhang and Levesque) and Greek (Valdez, McLean, Chase and Jackson) demigods, considered enemies by nature, will go to the Doors of Death on the Argo II to close them.
Yes; they delayed Gaea's rising, destroyed the giant, released Hera, and they have an idea where Percy Jackson is.
Hazel's curse is that whenever she walks around metal it will come out of the ground and be cursed. So bad things will happen to people who touch it. She can also melt the metal and return it to the ground. she finds that out when she tripped over a gold bar and got mad then melted it and sent it deep in the ground
The turning point of the book is when they find out where Percy Jackson (Protagonist of the Percy Jackson and the Olympiansseries) was sent to by Hera (queen of the heavens aka wife of Zeus)
