You can start by looking in your local phone book, to see if there are any lawyers that specialize in these issues. If that is not an option, try 1800LAWYERS and inquire there. In the transgender community, you may be able to put out feelers for this or on the Transgender web site, if there is one. I dont know if you can legally get your birth certificate changed because as far as vital statistics you were born a male. Good luck in the future and be sure to be upfront with the man you plan on marrying so that they know the situation. Even though you have every right to feel the way you do they have every right in knowing the truth.
Why have you not changed your sex on your birth certificate yet? Its one of the most important documents to have changes once SRS has been completed. I would first do that, and then worry about getting legal help if it is still a problem for you.
