A good resource that's overlooked all too often is your local public library. Most libraries carry Chilton repair manuals. They're considered reference material so they can't… be checked out, but you can copy the pages you need. Bring loose change in case the library charges for copies.
Answer It is in an owners manual available from MOTORLIT.COM.
Where can you get a free copy of the fuse box diagram and a wiring diagram for a 1991 Dodge Dakota truck?
A free copy of a fuse box diagram and wiring diagram for a 1991 Dodge Dakota truck can be found at the local library. Look for books about automotive repair that are speci…fic for that vehicle.
Free is hard to find when it comes to professional grade automotive wiring diagrams. You can find free wire colors and pinout information at places like the12volt.com, modifie…dlife.com and/or installdoctor.com but they don't have actual "diagrams" and the information they supply isn't directly from the manufacturer - like real diagrams are. Professional-grade Wiring Diagrams are available from the following sources: Wiring-Diagram.com ($6 for Full Color circuits) Mitchell Repair [eautorepair.net] ($12 black & white circuits) Alldata [alldatadiy.com] ($25 for black & white circuits) Best bet is to buy new radio. Bypass old wiring and run a direct connection to the appropriate fuse in fuse box. Your new radio will come with an inline fuse for protection. Then attach ground wire to some metal part of body and presto, no need for wiring diagram. ~~~~ A site I have found useful is The 12 Volt [http://www.the12volt.com/ it is free, however they may not have the diagram but more then likely will have the color codes for what you need. The site contains mostly information for car alarm, audio, video and such. My best suggestion though is to buy the radio harnesses adapters (there are 2) and then splice into the radio harness. The adapters clip in to the factory harness.

( remove the clips in the body for the original speakers to prevent them from rattling. With a small screwdriver just pop em straight out as they are just clips them selves.) You could actually get away with a 6 3/4 inch speaker with a better fit as the pioneers new holes were very very close to the speaker hole. also note i had the infinity speaker system and the wires for that are not the color codes given here. unfortunatly i did not write down what they are but if you look at your new speakers and the old the skinny post on the new is negitive and the fat post is positive. The infinity speakers do not show the + or - so to figure out which wire was which in the back speakers the tweeter is with the 6 1/2 inch cone, the fronts have the tweeter seperate from the cone with the cone being in the bottom of the door by your feet and the tweeter is in the door panel under (driverside for illustration reference) the power mirror controler. if you look at the backs of the tweeters you can see the + or - and figure out which is + or _ sub-note on this: the rear speakers will get destroyed to do this task as you need to break the tweeter off the cone to see the back of it. Be careful tho to not rip it off with the wires pulling off to aid in identifying the + or -
