La Tour Montparnasse is one of the only skyscrapers in Paris, offering a wonderful view. L'Arc de Triomphe at Charles de Gaulle Etoile is not as high, but still offers a breathtaking view. As with Sacre Coeur, l'Arc de Triomphe requires a bit of stair climbing with no optional elevator.
If you have several hours of free time and don't mind paying for the privilege, you can visit the Eiffel Tower. However, if you are on a budget and/or do not quite have the time to invest in the wait to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower, you can venture to the Sacre Coeur in Montmarte for some of the most breathtaking views of Paris. Best of all, the views from atop Montmarte are free, unless you decide climbing the (MANY) stairs to reach the Sacre is a bit too physically challenging for the tourist who has covered a lot of ground on minimal sleep for several days. In that case a small less lengthy than that you will encounter at the Eiffel Tower and a nominal fee will buy you a ride on the elevator that takes you to the foot of the Sacre Coeur. On a clear day, one can see all of Paris below as well as everything that lies approximately within a 20 mile radius.
Just as a reminder, the monument you refer to is "MONTMARTRE," not "Montmarte."
