Gina is Italian and is short for Regina- Queen, also a brand of vacuum cleaner, which used, obviously a crown trademark. The Japanese may well have honored Miss Lollobrigida with some sort of award or medallion, not as an actress but perhaps as a prominent Photographer which she is. -Not to mention a Nikon exponent. There were and are certain Japanese Government orders which are ONLY bestowed on Women, and surely she would be a worthy and honorable candidate. ah so. My guess the award would probably be stamped or engraved on the Back- Miss Gina Lollobrigida, the rest being in Japanese script. Gina is NOt a Japanese name.
