Lifeclinic is not bankrupt, but may be soon.
In essence, Lifeclinic is in receivership by a major creditor, Sentry Finance http://www.sentryfinancial.com operated by Jonathan Ruga. Technically, the assets of Lifeclinic were purchased by Sentry Finance for under $100, and unsecured debts left with Lifeclinic.
Jonathan Ruga served on the board of directors of Lifeclinic, but then resigned right before the sale to his group was consummated, which has left this deal suspect by many.
Lifeclinic is now Sentry Health. Currently, as of 8/29/2011, Sentry Health has an agreement for HSNI (Health Station Networks International) to buy the assets of Sentry Health, which are a national network of blood pressure monitors found in most pharmacies.
HSNI is operated and run by Lon Von Hurwitz a former two-time Lifeclinic employee and Ken Williams a former Sony Executive.
