Having problems with 1972 Evinrude boat motor most times it starts first go. run the motor for a few minutes and try to kick it again it doesn't turn over any ideas?

The 1972 model Evinrude has a battery powered ignition system, meaning that battery voltage is needed to power the ignition. Around 1978-79, the CDI ignition was introduced, in which a dual function stator was incorporated, to not only provide voltage to charge the battery, ( which is all the earlier system stator does ), but also supplied voltage to operate the ignition system. With the advent of the CDI system, all the battery was used for is voltage to operate the starter motor. Hence, once the engine was running, the battery was no longer needed. The ADI ( alternator driven ignition ), used in the 1972 model, would not run without continuous voltage that is supplied by the battery. I would suspect a problem with either the battery, or the charging system. Also, ensure that the battery cables are clean and tight at the connections, and in overall servicable condition.

having anxiety problems doesnt necessarily indicate heart problems. having anxiety does cause the body to freak out which in turn prepares the body for any danger that may arise. E.g heart rate and pulse will rise possibly getting the feeling of the heart pounding, the body will produce adrenaline, breathing will speed up, hence why you may hyperventilate or be short of breath.
