2. The right to have their own independent property.
3. The right to work to earn money if they need it or want it.
4. Equality of reward for equal deeds.
5. The right to express their opinion and be heard.
6. The right to provisions from the husband for all her needs and more.
7. The right to negotiate marriage terms of her choice.
8. The right to obtain divorce from her husband, even on the grounds that she simply can't stand him. (pls note that God deeply frowns upon divorce as a solution unless there is hardly any other alternative but it does not mean that men have more right to divorce their wives than women do.)

Answer BIn Islam there is absolutely no difference between men and women as far as their relationship to God is concerned, as both are promised the same reward for good conduct and the same punishment for evil conduct. The Qur'an says:And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women. (2:226)
The Qur'an, in addressing the believers, often uses the expression,'believing men and women' to emphasize the equality of men and women in regard to their respective duties, rights, virtues and merits.

Muslims claim to treat women well, although some would say this is not true, at least compared to people of other religions in modern times. On the other hand, women in medieval times were treated better by Muslims than by Christians.
Under sharia law, women can not inherit as much as their brothers, nor can they be equal witnesses in court. In fact there are many legal restrictions on women under both sharia and secular law in Muslim countries. Women in Saudi Arabia are still campaigning for the right to drive motor cars. In some countries it is not unusual for a woman to be flogged just for talking to a man in a public place or for not having her hair covered. Muslim women still do not have the right under Islamic law to marry a man of her choice unless he is a Muslim, a freedom that is accorded to Muslim men. It is hard for a woman to report rape, as the law will often not proceed without male witnesses and she may find herself instead charged with adultery. There are occasional instances of Muslims, even prayer leaders, visiting Western countries and expressing surprise at facing prosecution for indecent assault, sometimes offering the explanation that the problem is merely one of cultural differences.
Having said that, eastern Muslim countries such as Pakistan and Indonesia have had women presidents.
Answer 2If the Muslim we are referring to is a true Muslim, so as Allah has ordered him, he will behave fairly and with respect with his wife. Foe example in the time of the second caliph of Islam Omar,a man came to Omar and said that his wife behaves badly to him and puts him out of the house every morning. Omar said :thank Allah that she puts you every morning I even don't dare to go to home at night. I can hit her and punish her but because Allah and our prophet Mohammad has ordered Muslims I don't treat them badly. Yes! the 2nd caliph of Islam with his all power treated his wife very well. It should be noted that what we see in the media represents the extremes: the Taliban trying to kill Malala for daring to want education for girls is NOT the norm in most modern (and moderate) Islamic countries. Sadly, extremists have often taken control of Islam and are using it to defend second-class status for women. While there are questionable and patriarchal verses in the Qur'an (as there are in every scripture, it seems), normative Islam did not treat women brutally and did encourage education for women. That seems to have changed as extremists and ultra-conservatives began to dominate the religion in a number of countries, but it is not the case in all Muslim countries. There are numerous Muslim women who are doctors, scientists, lawyers, etc. And yes, there are Muslim women who are deprived of basic human rights.
Early Islamic empire of the poise caliphs treated non Muslims fairly .

There is no reason why women should not be treated as equals to men. And, there is no reason to argue otherwise.
