Best Answer

Processing chicken.

The best way will be the quickest way that is still humane and hygienic.

You want to be able to get your meat from the 105 degree temperature down to 45 degrees or less as quickly as possible to stop any potential bacterial growth.

This can all be done by hand with common household equipment or you can get very expensive and fancy with special killing equipment, scalding equipment, plucking equipment, eviscerating tools and packaging and cooling equipment.

Here is a very good link to home processing of chickens with pictures.

i have foun 2 different ways to butcher. the first one is to place the chicken upside down in a funnel, this is supposed to rush the blood to the head and it will black out, then slit it's neck and let it bleed to death. when it is dead you can either dip it in hot water and pluck it or skin it. the other way is to take an axe and chop of the head, and then either dip it or skin it. if you dip it you need to take a pot of boiling water, dip the chicken in for 10 seconds or so, then start pulling out the feathers, keep repaeting this preocess until all feathers are off. then that a brown paper bag or newspaper, lite it on fire and wave it under and arounnd he bird to remove any pin feathers that are left. the proceed to cut off the feet and remove the insides.

Chickens are slaughtered for consumption. Chicken meat is the most widely eaten meat in the world. Many people raise chickens to eat. Slaughtering them is a pretty easy process either individually or in processing units.

Process is as follows: # Kill bird usually by cutting off the head. In large operations this is done with a "V" shaped electrified knife which stuns then beheads the bird # Contain the bird allowing it to bleed out. COllect blood and send to offal processing. # Dip bird in scalding water to loosen the feathers (140 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit) usually 30 seconds or so pull a wing feather to check for looseness # Pluck to remove feathers. In commercial operations this is done by tumbling the bird in a drum with rubber pegs which rip the feathers out. The feathers are slavaged for conversion to protein meal. # Remove neck. (Salvage for packaging with bird , processing to recover meat for baby food, or send to offal collection) # Remove feet # Pull out, inspect then remove viscera (send to offal collection after salvaging heart and liver) and clean giblets. # Inspect and grade carcase, send to disosal (offal), freezing, packaging, ortrimming.

Many people then place the chicken in iced salted water to cool and further drain any blood.

A dog, weasels, coyotes...just about anything looking for a "meal". It depends on what part of the country you live in.

Ring their necks(Grab them by the neck and spin them until the head comes off then they run around for about 20 or 30 seconds without a head then drop dead.)

What is the conflict in the short story called Aunt Suzie’s rooster?

The conflict in the short story "Aunt Suzie's Rooster" is between Aunt Suzie, who loves her rooster and wants to keep him, and the narrator's father, who sees the rooster as a nuisance and wants to get rid of him. The conflict is mainly due to the rooster's loud and disruptive crowing, which disturbs the narrator's father's sleep and annoys him. Aunt Suzie tries to persuade her brother (the narrator's father) to let her keep the rooster because it reminds her of her deceased husband, but the father insists that the rooster must go. The conflict is resolved when the narrator's father and brother secretly take the rooster away and give it to a neighbor who wants it. Aunt Suzie is upset at first but eventually comes to accept the loss of her beloved rooster.
