I got mine pierced and im only 13
and trust me it didnt hurt at all when they pierced it..
but it will sting a little after its dont but not enough to be like OH MY GOD!! It stings for like a second and then it quits and its a real minor pain.
i just got mine yesterday...i am a huge baby when it comes to pain and it wasnt bad AT ALL!! honestly, its hard for me to believe they pierced it, felt like taking your nails and pinching your skin! it felt like it was on fire for like 5 mins after but other than that nothing! its super sensitive after though
Hey, i got mine done 5 week ago and it doesnt hurt at all dont worry. I was dreading it and then when the dude did it, it only hurt for 2 seconds SERIOUSLY! After you feel the pain but at night it felt fine only if i knocked it, at night put a plaster over it to stop your duvet or pillows or whatever catching onto it, good luck if your getting yours done :) p.s: i got mine done for my 12th bday. <3

∙ 14y agoHiya , im 14 and i feel pain really bad.I've had my belly dont for about 2 monthes ive had no problems its all been fine and it did hurt me having mine done but it was a quick simple pain for about 2 mins and then it was fine. The next day it was a little sore but then as the week went it got laods better and 2 weeks later i could move it up and down and it really did'nt hurt at all. So depending on wether you feel apin or not really is to how much it will hurt you but if your thinking about getting it done then i would say yes go for it because it looks great! Thank You (:.

∙ 12y agoAs a body modification enthuisiast I can tell you this...unless it's cartilage its not painful :) It's a minor pressure, then pinch. The healing process can be daunting if its a high traffic area such as a belly button. You may experience some swelling but the initial piercing "act" is a breeze. Similar to the stick of getting blood drawn. I've never had my belly button pierced personally but I've pierced a few in my time. I have 12 piercings...pressure, pinch, then presto! New piercing!

∙ 11y agoSpeaking from personal experience, it hurt, but it's far from anything unbearable. It's not as bad as a cartilage piercing (if you've had one of those you should be fine) but my pain tolerance for different areas is different from yours so I can't really say for sure how much it is going to hurt you. It's only a second (not even a second..) and then it's done, and then you have a beautiful belly button piercing

Pain is subjective. It varies from person to person, but personally, it hurt a decent amount. Not as bad as my tragus, but still. Pretty bad.

It sounds to me like your talking about a dermal or a horizontal navel piercing which is a surface piercing. But from the sound of it it's a dermal piercing because I've never seen a surface piercing with 3 balls unless there 3 different piercing in a row. I could help you more if I saw a picture of what your talking about.
