My chihuahua is 4 pounds and she is 6 months old. She I think so is full grown by now.
There is NO such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua or any other dog. Teacup is a term to describe just how small each one is. Chihuahua's have become fads for many people. All Chihuahua's can fit into a teacup when they are puppies. Chi's don't reach their full height and weight until they are two years old. To show a chi it cannot weigh more than 6 lbs., but the average weight for a chi is 10 lbs. AND the average weight of a PUREBRED Chihuahua is 5-8lbs.
The average weight of a PUREBRED "Teacup" is 2-4lbs.
Chihuahua breeders often use terms like Teacup, Pocket Size, Tiny Toy, Miniature or Standard to describe puppies. These terms are not recognized by the breed standards and are considered marketing gimmicks to inflate the value of puppies.[9] Chihuahuas are commonly referred to as either Apple or Deer heads,[10] the former having short noses and rounded heads similar to that of an apple, and the latter having longer noses and more elongated heads. (taken from wikipedia but you can find other stated facts on this)
Teacup refers to potential size but you may buy one to find it grows to regular chihuahua size which is listed following. Please take care and know that under 3lbs could mean health issues as they are "runts" of the breed although cute as heck and still wonderful companion dogs :)
Generally, the height ranges between six and ten inches; however, some dogs grow as tall as 12 to 15 inches (30 to 38 cm). Both British and American breed standards state that a Chihuahua must not weigh more than 6 pounds for conformation.
This is a mix of three different Dog Breeds that vary in size, so there is no standard size for how big or small such a dog should be. The resulting size will ultimately vary from dog to dog.
7 to 11 inches
under 9 pounds
I think that a teacup Shih Tzu is a runt. Imperials are not runts. They are bred that way! And usually cost more for it. Just be aware if you are going to buy one their little bones are very thin and can break easier than the larger breed. But to answer your question, they weigh, fully grown, about 4 1/2 lbs.
usally girl shih tzu may look bigger tha boy shih tzu but there not it's just there hair that makes them look big

None, a Shih-tzu is a Shih-tzu. But it can be mixed with other dogs.
Height of the Shih Tzu can be up to 8-11 inches and weight can be up to 9-16 lbs.
I don't think there is such thing as a pomeranian shih tzu. But, shih tzus don't grow very big. They can be tall, long, and reach a medium height at the age of 1. Typically, if a shih tzu jumps on you, he or she can reach your hips. Even though, they don't grow very big. Shih tzus are good for apartment living, so their height is no biggey
The Shih Tzu
The plural of Shih Tzu is "Shih Tzu". "Shih Tzu" was originally a Chinese word and Chinese words do not have separate singular and plural forms.
Yes, Shih Tzu has an undercoat.
Miniature PURE BRED Shih Tzu Puppies - around $1,000 - $2,000 range Not sure how much the adult mini shih tzus are. They get don't get as big as shih tzus that are not miniature.
You cannot breed any dog with a Shih Tzu, it's the same for all small dogs. You can't breed like a Great Dane or any type of large dog with a Shih Tzu, it would probably kill the shih tzu when giving birth. Sheebee13: You can breed any small dog with a shih tzu, ofcourse it cant be a big dog. But like a mini poodle, Chihuahua, yorkie. Anyhting small.
