There are many different answers to this question going from the Bible is just myth and has little or no history, to the Torah or first five books are historic, to The Bible is the Book of God's History of man.

Starting in Chapter 11 of Genesis, the Bible concentrates first upon the physical Congregation of Israel and ends with the Church of God or spiritual Israel in Revelation. With a possible two exceptions - Song of Solomon (love story yet historic to some and Proverbs (wisdom sayings) - the entire Bible is historic with about 28% prophetically so (history in advance).
