Best Answer

Glass is not a hazardous material. It is compressed, melted sand. You can recycle it or throw it away, just be kind to the sanitation workers and wrap broken glass in paper.

What do you do wiyh broken glass?

Broken glass needs to be disposed of very carefully. Otherwise it can cause very nasty injuries. You might want to check if there is a glazier nearby who is OK to get rid of it for you. Alternatively, check with your local refuse site (dump) and see if they will take it. When handling glass make sure you wear suitable gloves - reasonably heavy duty and be careful.
