How can i move on from my x when he still tries to own me and he can do whatever he wants but when i do he gets mad how to show him that im fine with out him and not fall into his trap again?

You have to cut him off completely. Hang out others places you know he will not be at. If hes still in your life or still see him every day it'll be harder to get over him fast.
