I've scrubbed mine by using a paste of dishwasher detergent (Cascade, etc.), letting it set for 15-20 minutes then hose it off...it's worth a shot!
A dilouted sollution of bleach and water always does the trick for me.
You can clean them by leaving them out in the rain, and hoping that the rain would be nice enough to clean them all. Another method is by throwing them in a pool.
