Using the official White House address to send a letter is still the best way to contact the president. You can also send e-mails, but it is not clear that the president himself will read them; usually he has staff-members look over the e-mails. The same is true for letters: given how many letters a president receives, it is impossible for him to read every one. The best way to do this is to contact him in care of the White House. But first, you should know that all presidents get a lot of mail, and President Obama is no exception.
