Disconnect the fuel line from the engine and connect it to an external tank. Turn the key to ON and it will pump the gas into the external tank.
ONLY DO THIS IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA
It Does Not Have A Gas Tank Drain Plug. You Will Have To Siphon The Gas Out. Or Drop The Tank With It In It. GOOD LUCK
They dont use a drain pug on the gas tank, only way to drain it is to get a siphone pump and drain it. oldgrizzly
there is no drain plugs on a gas tank u have to ru nout the gas
Almost no vehicle has a drain plug on the fuel tank.
No
There is no fuel tank drain plug.
Drain the gas out of your old tank. Be sure you have a proper receptacle to catch the draining fuel. Some fuel tanks have a drain cock that will allow you to drain all of the gas neatly. If you have a drain cock, it will be located at the lowest point on the tank. Loosen the valve and allow the gas to completely drain. If your tank has no drain cock, you'll have to drain it by removing one of the fuel lines. The rubber hose that exits the tank at its lowest point will drain the tank fully. It will either be connected to an electric fuel pump, fuel filter, or to a hard fuel line that goes to the front of the car. Loosen the clamp on the end of the line that connects to the gas tank. Pull the hose off and allow the gas to run out of the tank into your container until it is drained completely. Pour the gas into a gas can and store it safely. You can pour it into your new tank!
how do you drain the tank on a v star 650
What I've always done is put the gas tank on reserve and pull the hose that connects from the tank to the carb and have it drain into a gas can. It will get almost all the gas out of the tank.
You will likely need to drain the gas tank.
YOU HAVE TO DROP AND DRAIN THE TANK
Since there is no drain plug in the gas tank, you will need an alternate method to drain the gas from a 2003 Jeep Cherokee. You will need to drain the tank by putting a hose into the fuel rail and allowing the gas to flow into an approved gasoline storage container.
