Combination of amino acids made and connected in specific order by ribosomes. There are 20 amino acids, 8 necessary, and 12 unnecessary (body produces by itself). The only food that has all 8 necessary amino acids is meat, beef, chicken, and fish. These are called complete proteins. Plants, or incomplete proteins lack one or more of the 8 essential.

Protein is important to the human body, it is used in so many ways, muscle building, repair, enzymes, the list goes on and on. The major foodgroup you can find loaded with protein is your red meats, any kind of meat like steak, or any kind of fish like tuna. Peanuts are also loaded with protein, but i wouldn't suggest eating alot of peanut butter, although loaded with protein it has alot of calories and fat also.
