I am a male, but I have noticed this unanswered question languishing in the queue for some time, so I will offer my second-hand information.

Here is what I have read about. Two women do this almost the same way a man and woman haver intercourse. That is, the first lies on her back and spreads her legs. The second woman crawls onto the first, putting her knees between the legs of the first. From there on, they rub, bump, grind, whatever... except that there is no penis to insert.
