I am afraid the best thing to do is to non stop doing it the way you should! Thst mean that all the health class lessons you learned in shcool you now take seriously. For now. Example: No junk food, soda, sugary juice.. Just water and fruits, meat(like eggs and ham Sandwiches for protein! no ribs or BBQ sauce) and veggies, throw in SOME of the dairy and wheat but just enogh servings. Do exercises too. You might want to make your own food pyramid (for your age, gender,etc).
