Completing Your Assignments
The easiest way to stay on task is to avoid distractions.
Next, have a set time every day for doing schoolwork - pretend it is a job and just get it over with. If you have a certain time every day, then you are more likely to do the work and not find excuses. If you don't have actual homework on one day, then spend the time reading your notes and studying the lessons - that way, your grades will keep going up!
When trying to do the work, use your textbook and your notes to help you. If you can't figure it out, try an online homework help website - see the Related Questions for more places to look!

* You put your back into it. If you have a big project due on like...Friday, do 1/2 an hour of it everyday, so your not totally stressed on Friday!
* You can do homework by first looking at the question, and doing what the paper (or teacher) tells you to. if you are stuck write a note telling the teacher why you couldn't do it.
* The best way to do homework is to sit down and focus on what you're doing somewhere you cannot be distracted by a TV or the fridge. You might as well get it over with as soon as possible, and ask for help if you need it.
* There is no "easy way" to do homework. However, if you have a lot, small breaks help. Pay attention in class and homework is easier. But for the most part, you just have to do it.
* It's called "time management." You need time to be in school, you need time for study, you need time for family, you need time for friends, and you need time just to be by yourself. You must learn to balance the scales. Sometimes they get a little tipped in one direction or the other because of exams which may require extra study, or because of family responsibilities etc., but you must learn to adjust them back into appropriate balance again. Try to pick the best time to study during each day where you will not be distracted and try to keep that time set aside for concentrated study. You can do it! *
Well, I'd start with switching off or going somewhere where nothing will distract you. Make sure that you have all the resources you need, and a glass of water or a fruit drink. Then, just empty your mind, and focus on what is in front of you. I sometimes have this problem, so If I were you, I'd promise myself, as an example, a cookie if I thoroughly completed the homework! It works for me!
Here are some things you need to be doing:
You treat it like a job. If you remember that school is your job, the same as your parents go off to work every day, then you'll have a more mature attitude about it and be less likely to forget.
You also buy a calendar and put all of your assignments onto that, then hang it where you can't miss seeing it. Put alerts into your phone reminding you of your assignments and keep a homework notebook where you write down all of your assignments and keep important papers.
Also, you need a set time every day to do your work - a time when you are "in your office" to continue the work analogy. Every day at that time, you do some sort of school work, either your homework or studying.
Frustration is actually normal and shouldn't really be a problem since you can just ask someone for help :) Being off task is a consequence of frustration, so just ask for help.

Yes, doing homework teaches you to stay on task and be more responsible and mature.
Your homework determines the grade you get, how well you learn the material, and how well you do on the test. It also teaches responsibility because you learn to meet deadlines, stay on task, and complete a job.
