You need a good sump pump, drain the pool, a pole and scrub brush - acid wash brush, bucket, chlorine. Start at the tile line at one side of the pool - starting at the steps, then do the floor, concentrating on any and all algae spots with 12% liquid chlorine. You may have to do the entire pool multiple times depending on what you are removing. Pump out all the used chlorine wash after diluting or neutralizing the chlorine. Refill the pool with fresh water, filter for 24 hrs., add acid if necessary to a pH of 7.6. After the first 24 hrs you then can add some chlorine, conditioner or any other chemical in order to balance the water. Once that is accomplished you then can reduce the amount of hrs. your pump and filter are running. k
