Funnily enough, I've been searching everywhere for this. I believe the clacking sound created by typing is a direct result of the bottom of the keys hitting the underside of the keyboard.
You could take out every key and lay down some sort of sheet (felt, fabric, to muffle sound) and cut out holes for where the keys have to go, then just lay it in and replace the keys. Show type with almost no sound. You could reverse this and put the fabric on the bottom (glue maybe) of each key, leaving a hole to reconnect it to the board of course.
Not sure how effectively these would work, just thought of it then to be honest. Remember to take note of where each key is so you know where to replace them. Mixed keys can be very agitating.
I just type slowly, and place my finger on top of each key before pushing it down to place each letter. This way, your fingers aren't slamming against the keys (creating extra sound) and you can lower the keys slowly, and therefore, gently and quietly. I do this when parents are asleep and I have to use the main computer. Works a charm. But if you want to type very quickly, try the above method (maybe with a cheap, second hand or unwanted keyboard first to verify if it actually works).

If a volcano erupts more explosively, the lava spewing out tends to reach farther, possibly ruining a near by town. If it erupts more quietly, not as much lava tends to spew out. However, any eruption will cause harm to the atmosphere because it releases harmful pollutants.
