well ... in order to persuade your parents to take you somewhere you have to be responsible,do your chores but most of all you have to explain to your parents why you should go and why they should take you...it should work on them unless their strict parents.

∙ 14y agoYou do not. Your parents have reasons for not letting you go certain places. Believe it or not your parents were your age at one time. They remember what they felt and how they thought at your age. They are trying to keep you from a situation that you might not have the maturity to deal with.
The best way to get to go to those places in the future is to try and understand why your parents will not let you go now. Arguing and telling your parents they are "just mean!" will only confirm to your parents that you are not mature enough to attend the event they do not want you at.
Think about that. The more you argue with them the less they are going to trust you.
Lying to them, by the by, may mean they never trust you ever again.
Imagine how much fun the next few years in solitary could feel.

∙ 12y agoOffer to pay for gas, give specific details, elaborate your reason, promise not to waste time, offer a favor around the house or something in return. Don't completely rely on a "You scratch my back I scratch yours" system, prove to them they need to do this for you more often to at least prove they care.

∙ 12y agoI personally negotiate with mine by doing chores they ask me to do and some they don't, then tell them if they let me go, I'll clean the house when i get back. but you have th keep your promises 99.9% of the time.
