Abigail Adams questioned fellow women during the American Revolution. These women were thought to be sympathetic to the British cause.
She wrote letters to her husband, John Adams and helped him with decisions he might have had to make and brought up different issues like womens rights and slavery.
Basically she helped John Adams debate and have an input on some issues that concerned her and many others during the revolutionary war.
She also made the, 'remember the ladies' symbol as a symbol to women equality.
As in doing so, also convinced John Adams (her husband) to include this in the 'new code of laws' which sparked the Revolutionary War.
During the Revolutionary war, she also provided food and shelter (housing) for the soldiers. After that, John Adams got sent to England because of the war. Abigail followed. She acted as a hostess for both political and social gatherings.
Abagail Adams, who was married to John Adams (then one of the Massachussets delegates to the continental congress), helped in her community around Boston as well as Braintree during the Revolutionary War. She and several other wives in the area got together and did craft projects for needy families as well as making gunpowder for the militia. While John and John Quincy were in Europe, she kept house (proving an efficient farmer as well as housewife). Abagail was also a constant companion and primary soundingboard for John, who wrote to her frequently of his ideals and dreams. She calmed his delivery a bit, as he was a very passionate speaker and could sound confrontational at times. Not to be considered simply a housewife, Abagail petitioned John for consideration of women's rights during the revolutionary war. She insisted that women have just as much a part in the war as men.

Abigail Adams. She helped man kind by writing letters to people, and helping the people who were injured in the Revolutionary War. Abigail is remembered for many reasons. She married the second president of the United States and was the mother of the sixth president of the United States. Abigail helped people "thinking about women rights and roles". At first, John did not take what Abigail believed in very seriously. She was committed to help women get educated. She was also against slavery. Abigail worked hard for women's rights and did a lot for them.
She stayed at the family farm outside of Boston and took care of their six children. Later, she will join her husband in France as he worked to get help from the French.
== == Abigail Adams helped in the revolutionary war by writing letters to people and taking care of people. She would often write her husband John Adams about politics. What she is remembered for most is that in one of her letters she asked John Adams to remember the ladies. This meant to remember the little people while drafting the constitution
she wrote encouraging letters
If you count slaves, then yes. She believed that they should receive and education, therefore, she helped them. :)
