Adolf Hitler took over Germany at a time when they were most vulerable. Following World War I Germany was left in a state of fragile economy and government. Hitler took advantage of this by posing as someone the Germans could look up to. He eventually gained so much respect from the Germans that he made them believe the Jews were inferior. Which is why Jews were the victims of harsh persecution druing the Holocaust. By having someone to point a finger at and blame for the state of Germany after World War I Hitler was able to rise to power more quickly.

he didnt take it he asked for it

Early on during the Nazi Dictatorship, Germany absorbed Austria and the Sudetenland primarily through diplomatic means (with the threat of force, however).

In the case of Poland with the start of the war, Germany used a new strategy called blitzkrieg, or "lightning war," which was the 1930s' equivalent of today's "shock and awe." The idea was to move rapidly with overwhelming force and seek a quick capitulation from the defending armies of the invaded country. This same strategy was used throughout the rest of the war.
