Her father was already deceased at the time of her disappearance. Her Mother lived until Halloween of l963, when she died. an Earhart comemorative stamp with qan Acheson postmark- air mail of course, was issued in that year. I would imagine the mother had some loss-separation feelings to say the least- she was not a writer, and did not write any memoirs on such private grief feelings.
