He inspires people to feel that you can be successful at whatever you do if you study and work hard. He inspires minority populations by proving that race does not have to be a barrier to success given the right opportunities. He inspires teens, preteens and younger children by showing that he was once much like them, lived with a single mom, struggled with finances, lost his mother to cancer at a young age, and he had to go through tough times just like they may be going through. He is a role model showing that you can learn to make the most of it, even when the going gets tough and even if you are not born with a silver spoon.

Barack Obama ordered and accomplished the capture and killing of America's most wanted terrorist: Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the 911 attack.

He is more 'out there' and open than all the other previous presidents.

Not just America alone, but all of the other countries respect him.

Also, in no particular order: Federal funding of stem cell research; ratification of the nuclear weapons reduction treaty with Russia; rescue of the US automobile industry; health insurance reform; timetables for bringing our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan; extension of unemployment compensation; an end to discrimination against homosexuals in the military.
