Gandhi took civil disobedience, due process, and humanitarian steps towards the Indian Independence Movement from the British Empire. Civil disobedience included noncooperation and general strikes. Due process involved accepting jail terms through nonviolent resistance. Humanitarian steps included trying to find compromise and peaceful coexistence between India's Muslim minorities and Hindu majority.
Mr. Gandhi wanted the control over free India, which was not possible if Pakistan would be a part of India, since Mohd. Ali Jinnah wanted to be the Prime Minister of free India, so, to give what both the leaders wanted, first Pakistan was separated from India and Mr. Jinnah was given control of it. Mr. Gandhi Created a plot such that it seemed, all was impossible without partition... and rose as a Sole Hero...
The real heroes who sacrificed their lives, their families, their everything dreaming for Free India, got nothing in hand except Poverty, Exploitation, Corruption and yet another rule of such corrupt spine less leaders...
We are still not free in the real sense...
Come to think of it, can we name any one, just any one politician (an MP, an MLA any one) till date, who has lost a dear one serving the country at the border, or fighting the terrorist at home, or a casualty in a bomb blast??? No, not even one. When ever we hear a politician die is only in a plane crash or being shot at, is only due to internal dispute and fury amongst the politicians.
And this is exactly what the Indian National Congress or the UPA govt. is doing till date. Being with Pakistan in all odds.
Building trade relations with Pakistan, without clearing the pending issues of POK, terrorism, Mumbai blasts, Parliament attack. Why???
Now its on us to decide, as it is we who have lost our dear ones. Not they.
We care as it makes a difference to us...
Jai Hind!!!
