What punishment did God give to Adam and eve?

Perhaps we could change the word Punishments to the word Blessings. If they had not transgressed the law you would not have been able to ask the question, and I would not have been able to give an answer.

1. They would be cast out of the presence of God.

2. They would eventually die.

3. Their bodies would be separated from their spirits.

4. They would have to grow their own food.

5. They would have to face the trials and tribulations of the world.

6. They would always be tempted by Satan.

7. Eve would suffer the pains of childbirth.

8. The animals would fear man.

When one thinks about it we have to be grateful to our first parents.

with painful labor you will give birth to children.

Your desire will be for your husband,

and he will rule over you."

God also punished Adam and Eve by not letting them take the fruit from the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:22), and by banishing them out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:23-24).

They were banned from the garden of Eden. If they would eat from the tree they would become imperfect and die. Genesis 3:23,24" With that Jehovah God put him out of the garden of Eden to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken. They were kicked out of the perfect heaven and were placed to the unperfect earth as siners that's why when we are born we are baptised to wash away the sins that we have in our blood from them.

To Eve, he said: (verse 16 of Genesis)

"I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."

And to Adam he said: (verse 17 of Genesis)

"Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree...cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;"
