It wasn't that Hitler was agreat dictator that helped him win wars it is the success of the Blitzkrieg that helped him take over countries.

also it was his good use of Propaganda

Edit * Blitzkrieg was a military strategy. What made Hitler a "great dictator" was that after world war one Germany was in huge debt. Around 33 Billions dollars. Which resulted in a depression for that country so many people were poor and hungry and because everyone was desperate for a better country they wanted a better leader. Hitler promised his country for a better society and when your people are hungry and desperate they will listen. Plus Hitler was a very engaging speaker.

Basically for me the dectators' mean is that who force him self on others ....as the same every dectator is hungry of power to do that and now the answer of that how Hitler become success full ...if we go back to the history and study the situation after World War 1 France humiliate Germany and it make German peopel full of revenge and when they have got a leader like Hitler who become the chancler of Germany just because of that he will take the revenge from the France and Germany will become superpower and when Germany increase its military force and 1st capture all its ares which were taken after World War 1 then it become so easy for them and there military force moral was so high that they were thinking that they can defeat any nation in the world and they defeat most of them ... Auschwitz

ITS NOT HITLER PEOPLE AND ITS NOT BLIZCKREGE

Let's make a long story short and more easily digestible:

Germany's government worked (and still works) more like Britain's than the US's. Instead of a Queen, Germany has a President, who is elected, but otherwise is very similar- the President represents the country, has great political power, is the official head of the military, but generally doesn't actually do much. The government itself is run by the Chancellor, who is normally the leader of the political party that holds the most seats in the Reichstag (which is similar to the US House of Representatives, or the UK House of Commons). If there is no majority party or coalition, then the President can simply appoint someone to be Chancellor.

In January 1933, the German government and economy were in chaos. Hitler's Nazi Party allied with a couple other right-wing parties, and together they convinced the President to appoint Hitler Chancellor, which he did. Elections were scheduled for the beginning of March- they hoped that they would win enough seats that their coalition had a majority and could actually get things done.

About a week or so before the election, the Reichstag building was set on fire. A Communist was arrested and blamed for it. Hitler's coalition convinced the President that a Communist rebellion was about to start, so the President used his powers to pass an emergency law that suspended civil liberties and allowed Hitler to arrest any Communists who might be trying to revolt. Hitler used the powers granted to him to arrest not only Communists, but any leftists who might oppose him, especially the Social Democrats, which was the largest party in Germany.

With the leftists arrested or hiding, Hitler's right-wing coalition won a little over 66% of the seats in the Reichstag- giving them a super-majority. This meant that they could pass any laws they wanted, even amendments to their constitution. Less than a month later, they passed a constitutional amendment, called the Enabling Act. The Enabling Act gave all government power to Hitler himself. Hitler was immensely powerful, but he wasn't fully dictator yet. He spent the next year reforming the German government to fit the Nazi Party's twisted ideas, in a process called "Gleichschaltung" ("synchronization"). Other political parties were banned, even the ones that had just helped the Nazis take control.

In summer 1934, the Nazis cleaned their own house in the "Night of the Long Knives". Nazis who might oppose Hitler were arrested or murdered. The Nazi Party's own small army, the Sturmabteilung ("assault section") was folded into the Schutzstaffel ("protection staff", otherwise known as the SS), and its leaders murdered. Strasserites (left-leaning Nazis led by the Strasser brothers) were also murdered, as were German politicians who had dared oppose the Nazis during their rise to power.

In August 1934, the President died. Hitler chose not to hold elections to choose a new one; instead, he used his Enabling Act powers to merge the Presidency and the Chancellorship, creating the new position of "Fuehrer" ("Leader"). Hitler was officially the dictator of Germany. When the Enabling Act was supposed to end in 1937, the Reichstag was all Nazis, so it was easily renewed.

well the people of Italy and Germany wanted there countries to be once more powerful and they felt that they needed strong leaders to get it-and remember Hitler was actually voted into the reichstag and was appointed chancellor which gave him emergency powers- eg passing laws without it going through parliamentthat is how he got to be dictator.

He promised them a bunch of stuff and the people who were under great depression fell for his lies and agreeed for him to become the leader which gave him a whole bunch of power.

Hitler fed on the grievances of the German people following their disastrous defeat in World War I. Much of their territory was taken from them and they were required to pay huge sums to their victorious enemies. These enemies were more focused on punishing Germany for starting the war than on making sure that Germany became a peaceful and prosperous state. Hitler was a dynamic speaker who tirelessly campaigned to rebuild a strong sense of German nationalism. Once he became Chancellor he used his Nazi party thugs to intimidate his political opponents. He also expanded the German military in violation of treaties, which provided jobs and allowed him to begin threatening his neighbors to regain the lost territories.

HITLER WAS A VERRY STRONG PERSON IN HISTORY BECAUSE HE HAD ALL THE POWER TO DOMINATE PEOPLE. HE GOT AROUND WITH HIS WORDS WITH PEOOPLE AND PORVED HE COULD BE A GOOD LEADER,.,,,,, AND DATS HOW PEOPLE SUPPORTED HIM...

I BELIEVE HE IS WAS MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN HISTORY BECAUSE OF HIS INTELLIGENCE....
