How did Oskar Schindler reacted on the Nazi party policies in Germany?

Oscar Schindler did not initially react to the policies the Nazi party was imposing on the Jewish people. In fact, he made millions of dollars off their suffering because their free labor earned him a fortune in the factory he owned. He was a people pleaser, and at first he was not alarmed by the values of the Nazis because he himself was a member of the party. But once he began to see firsthand the brutalities imposed on his workers and all the Jewish people, he completely changed his views and began doing everything possible to protect as many as he could. At first it was all about the money but once he saw what was really going on, he began to see the cruelities that the Nazis based their policies on. He saved thousands of workers by making a list of names who were essential to his company, even those who actually had no skill that would be useful to him. Rather than using his good status to make money, he began using his power to protect all the men, women, and children that he could. He even demanded that his employees discreetly make mistakes in the building of weapons that would go to the Germans so they would be useless. Today, he is considered a Holocaust hero and a savior among the Jewish people exactly because of how he reacted to the Nazi policies.
