∙ 9y agoThe Greeks created art for art's sake. They sculpted beautiful figures and were known for their literary and artistic works as well. The Romans simply emulated the Greeks. For the most part, the Romans copies Greek sculptures and called it their own.

∙ 12y agoNot so much except for the pots the greeks loved to decorate them the romans didn't. Furthermore there isn't really a form of roman art. Most of the statues found in Rome were copies of greek statues everythingbwas copied from the greeks. The romans took tons of greek art when they came from Greece. Thrust me i follow courses in Latin and greek and we also learn about the culture.
