How did WWll impact the world?

World War 2 or WW2 was the most impacting thing that the world has seen. The industrial revolution, civil war, WW1, and Revolutionary War where big but nothing like this. We are talking from crude vehicles with machine guns and small cannons to huge tanks that had missiles and 80mm cannons. Some of the German tanks where bigger then 2 WW1 tanks. And then having 600 or more in a Panzer column, and rolling 5 columns across the boarder to another country that is huge. But back to the question. World War 2 especially the Germans advanced the worlds science, military vehicles planes, bombs and explosives, and missiles In WW2 the Germans where able to make the first jet plane the world has ever seen. They mastered the skies with new technology and ariodynamic planes. Some of our modern plane designs are largely modified German WW2 fighters. Also they made the V1 and V2 rockets that was the beginning of all missile technology. Then they made a portable rocket launcher that became the beginning of all transported rocket barrages. Also in WW2 the nuclear bomb was made. This was made by the United States and dropped on 2 major Japanese cities. The Germans where also very close to completing one of these bombs. Also cars where modified to use less fuel and brought the United States out of the depression It also showed how evil and twisted someone could be and made all of the world realise if a country was left destroyed and not watched or stopped when hostile signs where seen how deadly and hard it could be.
