How did Walt Disney get started inventing cartoons?

Walt Disney was put in jail for committing a crime I'm not sure of. After realizing his "true" friends weren't really his friends because no one visited him in jail. He was all alone. His only friend was a mouse Jo would always come to play with Walt. Disney began to doodle the mouse and promised himself he would make something big for that little mouse. And results came to be that he named the mouse mickey

I don't think this was for us 2 know, but I don't think they invented it, like Rapunzel, there were so many. (Even though Disney's was the prettiest one) I think it came to them, and they had to come up with the idea, draw the characters. When that's done (if its animation.) They get on a computer, whatever that it called for animation, and then they have to make the character come to life. That's how.
