The maps had to be changed because the USSR took over Eastern European nations. Some of the South East Asian nations were released from the imperialist rule and they were able to become their own nations with new names. Later the countries in Africa were freed too and they got new names.

They have a website that has history of various campaigns and maps to show the progress and movements of the armies. [2] If your question relates to real maps used by soldiers during the war, then you have to really search for them. I have a collection of maps printed by the US Government during WW2. You can also see some of the original intelligence maps at the National Archives (NARA) at College Park MD.
