Although many religions have various explanations of how the earth was created, there is clear evidence for evolution. People - modern humans - evolved from more ancient hominid species. We do not need a God for this.
According to The Bible and many religions, God created people and all living things, and the planet Earth. Many ancient societies have stories, usually based on nature or powerful beings, to explain how people came to populate the earth. Some other people think that living things started out from one celled forms of life and evolved over millions of years.
It's all about what you believe started it out. Nobody knows for sure how life on earth started, because no human was there at the time. Some of us believe that God created the universe and everything in it including evolution. Has there ever been a society that never questioned this and has no need for an explanation?
Creation:
When God created the Earth, he made man from dust and placed him on the Earth. This was Adam. Then God saw that Adam was lonely, so he made a woman to go with him. Her name was Eve.
They reproduced, and provided the human population.
Evolution:
Life on earth arose from primitive forms and evolved over billions of years. What we see in the flora and fauna of our home planet are the (current) endproducts of unfolding evolution. There is no scientific evidence for any other scenario.

In addition to their overall temperature air masses are classified according to the surface over which they form. continental air masses form over land, and are likely to be dry. Maritime air masses form over water and are humid. Polar air masses form at high altitudes and are cold. Tropical air masses form at low latitudes and are warm
Pangaea was the supercontinent into which all the land masses were concentrated until about 200 million years ago.
